Here are some reasons why Harvest emphasizes small groups:

1. We're created to be in community.

2. Many of us have broken relationships...we need some healthy ones to help us through life.

3. We all want life change from time to time. It doesn't come by ourselves.

4. Growing in our faith isn't just about reading the Bible more. God calls us to interact with others to learn more about Him and ourselves.

5. God has chosen us to share His Love in the world. We do that in relationship, not alone on islands.

6. We want our community beyond Harvest to know the Grace, Peace, and Love that comes from being in right relationship with Jesus and with one another.

Here's what you can expect:

1. Casual conversation
2. Teaching
3. Guided discussion
4. Prayer

You will not be asked to bare your soul. You will be given the opportunity to share your heart but no one will be pressured to share more that they are comfortable with.

Groups meet throughout the week in various homes and at various times. Speak with a small group leader on Sundays or contact the church office at office@hccgainesville.org for more information about small groups.
