Preschool Ministry

Breakfast

The breakfast team shares the responsibility of providing a hot and delicious breakfast every Sunday morning at 9:00 am.

Building

The members of the Building Ministry Team recognize and accept their roles as stewards of God's resources at Harvest. They strive to show by example and encourage the church to care for the building, its systems, and facilities to help create a more worshipful environment by maintaining and improving the resources to which we are entrusted by God and our fellow believers.

Children's Ministry

The Children's Ministry Team serves the Lord by providing a safe and loving environment where elementary aged children will grow in the knowledge of the Lord's love and provision for them. Team members have opportunities to serve during Sunday School, in Children's Church, and during special events like VBS and the Fall Festival.

Communion

The members of the Communion Ministry Team serve believers by preparing the bread and grape juice for the Lord's Supper every Sunday morning.

Greeters

Greeters have the awesome and essential responsibility of extending a warm Christian greeting to all those attending our Sunday worship service. Greeters provide bulletins and other information to our members and visitors. During the service, one of the greeters obtains an accurate count of those in attendance, including those present in the worship center, nursery and preschool classes, and Children's Church.

Grounds

The Grounds Ministry Team works very hard at keeping Harvest a beautiful place of worship. Being blessed by God with a number of green-thumbed team members, we keep the grounds beautifully manicured and landscaped to create a warm and inviting look for our house of God.

Missions

The Missions Ministry Team of Harvest considers the Missions ministry of this congregation a calling. The team recognizes the need to support missions regularly continually, and encouragingly. To learn more about Harvest's supported missions, visit the Missions page.

Nursery and Preschool

The Nursery and Preschool Ministry Team at Harvest serves the Lord by providing a safe and loving environment where young children will grow in the knowledge of the Lord's love and provision for them. Volunteers in this ministry can serve during Sunday School, the main worship hour, and during other weekly and special events held at the church. Singles Ministry

The Single Adult Ministry (SAM) at Harvest is a unique ministry in the Gainesville community. SAM is a Christ-centered fellowship/ministry group that offers encouragement and support for all singles ~ over 30.

Women's Ministry

The Women's Ministry Team desires to meet the spiritual needs of the women at Harvest by providing opportunities to study Scripture, serve, share, and build relationships with each other.

Worship

The purpose for Music and Worship Ministry is to plan and produce worship services and special events that glorify God, encourage Christians, and introduce seekers to His life changing power. To accomplish this we desire to provide individuals opportunity to use God-given musical, drama, and dancing abilities to honor Him and enhance our corporate worship. We utilize a blended traditional/contemporary music format for our services.
